Alright, who is feeling the cabin fever? The vibe that I am getting across the country is that we are in a bit of a rut. The newness of staying at home and quarantining is wearing off. There is still uncertainty about the future. Now parts of the country are reopening and some of us are feeling tension about things going back to "normal." Is the country ready? Is it safe? You may feel like this is gas on a fire that has been smoldering.
There are not a lot of things in our life that we can control, but we can control how we respond to the things happening around us. Even in turmoil, find a sense of curiosity. Discover something new this week. Be curious about your garden, find a new walking path in your neighborhood, have a good talk with your kids. We can't control the world around us, but we can our control curiosity.
I often find that curious people are often the most joyous. So I challenge you this week to find something new to be curious about.
